All hail the Romans. They got to Lanark and beyond (the bottom of my sister's garden in Bearsden lol) and probably less knackered than us on our 12 hour journey by train, plane and automobile. We had to gave a wee refreshment to celebrate. Delighted with our digs which I suspect is better than what those Romans had in Lanark 2000 years ago. We have an inside toilet and shower btw.
