The Disney Channel princesses are back

.

.

.

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have reunited for a nostalgic Rare Beauty campaign, bringing one of Disney Channel’s most iconic friendships back into the spotlight. Nearly two decades after Princess Protection Program (2009), the childhood best friends are celebrating their shared history with a collaboration titled Still Making Each Other Blush, recreating the film’s unforgettable princess imagery.

The campaign introduces the limited-edition Delena Soft Pinch Blush Bundle, featuring Selena’s favourite shade, Hope, and Demi’s choice, Virtue. Dressed in blue and yellow gowns reminiscent of their characters Carter Mason and Princess Rosalinda, the pair also recreate their famously chaotic YouTube vlogs, complete with a nostalgic bedroom setting and their song One and the Same. Their reunion follows Selena’s appearance at Demi’s concert earlier this year, marking a new chapter in a friendship that began on Barney & Friends.

What makes this moment particularly special is the history behind it. After years of growing apart, public speculation, and separate journeys through fame, Selena and Demi are embracing the friendship that helped define an entire generation’s childhood. More than a beauty collaboration, the campaign feels like a love letter to the girls who grew up watching them, reminding us that some friendships can find their way back to each other. Once a princess, always a princess.
