What makes a perfect wedding? Wrong question. WHO makes a perfect wedding. WHERE makes a perfect wedding. Because when 100 or so Australians tumble into NYC to celebrate their friends getting married, shit gets real fun. It felt like school camp… but like, extraordinarily fancy. First of all, the bride and groom have incredible taste and attention to detail - from the venues, to the butter in the shape of their dog, to the bobby pins and gum in the bathroom. Second, when everyone is permitted to spend a week away from their kids and jobs, mood is HIGH. Lot to be said for destination nuptials and the mindset it produces. Finally: a wedding! Love! Happiness! A bride who stepped in front of her groom and was bathed in a golden light so transcendent we all gasped and clapped! The whole event was wildly beautiful and special. Congratulations, Andy and Bec. If a wedding is an expression of the couple, then you’re two very thoughtful, fun and generous souls. Thank you for the lifelong mems. ❤️ Also thank you, @alemais.official for my glorious custom gown. I felt like a million USD. 💚 And @stevenkhalil? Bec’s dress was 🤌🤌🤌 (The good photos are by @jackhenryphoto!)

Sacha Baron Cohen is facing calls to boycott his new Ali G film over his past support for Israel. In a new cover-story interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Jewish actor and comedian said he has not spoken publicly about the war in Gaza since calling for the release of the hostages in 2023. Cohen said he is frustrated when people on social media assume his views on Israel simply because he is Jewish. He also said he is not surprised that prominent Jews are being targeted, describing it as part of a broader trend of Jews being portrayed in certain ways and “trying to be silenced.” Cohen is returning to the Ali G character in Ali G: Who Iz I?, his first Ali G feature film in more than two decades.
