Divo(e)rcity - The newnew Ramat Aviv, an infrastructural living landscape for a post familiel era.

The project addresses the evolving nature of housing and families in the context of the disintegrating nuclear family model.
It challenges three established norms in the residential field that no longer serve contemporary family realities: the housing unit, the neighborhood unit, and the ownership/rental model.

Divo(e)rcity presents three building typologies: Single, Double, and Multi, each offering a distinct relationship between beds and rooms. These typologies, inspired by historical housing models, provide varying degrees of privacy and communal living, adaptable to diverse family structures and individual needs.

The project Invites a broader discussion on the nature of our living arrangements. It suggests a paradigm shift from rigid, static housing solutions to more adaptable, responsive forms that prioritize residents’ evolving needs in our complex, contemporary lifestyles.
