Ten years ago I went on a date that could have been the premise for a true crime podcast or a serial killer’s MO: woman gets in a car full of guns with a guy she barely knows and lets him drive her an hour into the absolute middle of nowhere to a deserted shooting range with no cell phone service… because what could have possibly gone wrong?!

Luckily, he wasn’t a serial killer, and I didn’t end up as the subject of a true crime show!

Jokes aside, it’s hard to believe it has been ten years since that fateful first date… Through better or worse, richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, we’ve both grown so much — not just as individuals, but as a team. Every day I find myself thanking the universe to have Nate in my corner.

So, here’s to ten years down, and to many more 🥂
