It’s been officially confirmed that Lamar Jackson is truly made of glass 😳

Lamar Jackson might be the most entertaining quarterback in NFL history because nobody else can make professional defenders look this ridiculous on a regular basis. The Baltimore Ravens superstar has the kind of speed, agility, and creativity that makes every single snap feel like something unbelievable could happen. One second he’s standing in the pocket looking for an open receiver, and the next he’s making three defenders miss before sprinting downfield for an enormous gain. Imagine being an NFL linebacker who has spent the entire week preparing to contain Jackson, only to watch him change direction so quickly that you barely have time to react. His ability to escape pressure and create something out of absolutely nothing is what makes him so dangerous. Defenses can execute their assignments perfectly and still end up getting embarrassed.

Jackson became a college football legend at Louisville, winning the 2016 Heisman Trophy before the Ravens selected him with the 32nd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He quickly established himself as one of the league’s most electrifying players, winning the 2019 NFL MVP award after throwing 36 touchdown passes and rushing for 1,206 yards. Jackson captured another MVP award following the 2023 season, demonstrating that his success wasn’t simply about athleticism. His development as a passer, improved decision-making, and ability to command Baltimore’s offense have made him one of football’s most complete quarterbacks. He also became the first NFL quarterback to surpass 6,000 career rushing yards. Plenty of quarterbacks can throw beautiful passes, but very few can completely destroy a defensive game plan with their legs. Lamar Jackson is truly one of one. #LamarJackson #Ad #Football #NFL #RavensFlock

I think this has been the most tricky bathroom I’ve ever designed. I was originally planning blue & white stripes in here as it’s the bunk room bathroom but I’ve decided I want to keep it a bit more mid-century feeling. I’ve been all around the houses with the blue tiles though. I nearly gave up on them but some of these images have convinced me to keep going with them. I think with blue one just has to be very careful it doesn’t end up looking clinical by introducing wood, art, softness and another colour such as red. I think I’m second-guessing everything as there’s so much hanging on the design of the whole of Vipers Quay. It’s not been touched properly since the 1990s and I’m now responsible for the house’s design on behalf of my entire extended family, which im loving, but I’m also feeling the weight of that responsibility.

I’m off to the house (it’s in Devon) on Tuesday along with some of my cousins to strip as much out as possible ahead of the builders starting on the 9th. We’re trying to save a bit of money by DIYing this bit as we’re on a tight budget. It’s real and it’s happening and I’m piling the pressure on myself to sort out the final design decisions. I’ll keep you posted on where I end up with this room and all the others.

Keep coming back and watching if you’d like to see how this bathroom and the whole house unfold over the next few months. I hope you enjoy the transformation of this incredible house as much as me!
