𝘑𝘦𝘧𝘧 𝘠𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘢 𝘝𝘢́𝘴𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘻

Past year copy I did of Carlos Baca Flor’s painting “La mujer de la Tanagra”; superb piece I could watch and compare to mine in the MALI museum where you can find the biggest archive of Baca Flor works.
When you look at it, you notice how subtle he was, and how delicate were his choices, even if it’s such a strong painting in the background and brushstrokes, works like these inspire me to continue in my journey every day, and big compositions of course.

83 x 65 cm, oil paint over oil based imprimatura on italian prepared canvas, used titanium white with calcium carbonate, lead white is still my favourite tho, also first time I used green earth.
