What a year. What a LIFE. 🎈

Probably the biggest year of mine so far.

Pregnancy. Becoming a mom to Zy. Signing a commercial lease. Building our very own All Day Fit. 🥲

I didn’t know I wanted kids. I definitely didn’t know I wanted a commercial lease lol. But what I did know was that I wanted to live a big, full life. And HOLY SHIT, are we ever.

Birthdays are funny. Some years they’re happy, some years they’re heavy. Sometimes they’re both.

This year, I’m feeling a whole lot of gratitude.

For the people I’ve met. The risks I’ve taken. Everything I’ve been able to experience. The things I’ve built. The love I’ve experienced. The people I get to share it with 🫶🏻) All the versions of myself I’ve become along the way. And maybe most of all, for the things I never saw coming. Because as much as I’ve always believed in building a life I love, some of the most beautiful parts of it are things I never could have planned.

I’m grateful for the privilege of growing older.
For another year of this big, beautiful life. 🌎

For the little girl in the last photo, and all the versions of me in between. I’m proud of us.

AND EXCITEDDDD because we’re just opening up MANY doors. There’s lots of great things to come this year mama💗

love you, sweetie. I can’t wait to be with you again.

& to the women that shared their stories of grief with me, thank you.

I’m still not even ready to really talk about details. I was mishandled from knowing something was wrong to delivering him alone with no pain management. it’s why I haven’t really talked about Webb’s crazy fast wonderful birth story either. it’s hard to talk about birth stories in general.

Kemp’s has just lived unprocessed in my brain and I’ve shelved the trauma from that day while trying to move through the grief of not having him everyday after. maybe I’ll in a few years I’ll be there to share, but if you have delivered your child and held their body with no heartbeat, you are not alone & others have been there too.

nothing makes the grief lighter, but I did feel less alone knowing I wasn’t the only one who knows the bone deep grief & the specific traumas that accompany 🫂
