It’s Navratri in India, a time when we worship Shakti, the sacred feminine, as divine. 🙏🏽

Yet I often wonder how much of that reverence translates into the way we treat the women around us.

As women, we go through so much in one lifetime. From puberty to hormonal changes, childbirth for some, menopause, and all the challenges that come with every stage of life. And through it all, we’re expected to just keep going, often without much empathy or understanding.

I truly believe that one of the most healing things for a woman is to feel seen, heard, understood and supported. There is tremendous healing in sisterhood.

Yet so often, women are judged, sometimes most harshly by other women.

Imagine if we replaced that judgment and competition with compassion. If we genuinely celebrated another woman’s beauty, strength, choices and successes without feeling diminished ourselves.

How much healing could we create for one another?

So this Navratri, let’s honour Shakti not just in the goddess we worship, but in every woman around us.

Send this to a woman you admire. Let her know you see her, you celebrate her, and you’re cheering her on.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Because sometimes that’s exactly what we women need the most.

2027: Peter Obi Is Master Of Bogus Statistics And Incoherent Economic Prescriptions; Claims He Won 2023 Election Without Any Evidence — Vice-President Shettima

Vice-President Kashim Shettima has described Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as the “master of bogus statistics and incoherent economic prescriptions” while criticising his comparisons between Nigeria and other countries.

Shettima made the remarks on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council at the State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He likened Obi’s economic comparisons to trying to fit a size 36 shirt tailored for Bangladesh onto Nigeria’s “size 52 frame,” arguing that policies successful in one country cannot automatically work in another without considering differences in population, economic structures and institutions.

The Vice-President said, “A country of over 250 million people cannot be governed through borrowed statistics and economic prescriptions detached from its peculiarities.”

Shettima also questioned Obi’s claims about winning the 2023 presidential election, saying he had made “bogus claims” without providing evidence.

“I respect Peter Obi, but he has gone beyond his mastery of philosophy to make bogus claims about winning the 2023 presidential elections without adducing a shred of evidence,” he said, describing it as “delusion of grandeur.”
