A Bexar County Sheriff’s Office detention deputy was fired this week after photos of her posing with inmates and making an obscene gesture inside the jail circulated on social media. A BCSO spokesperson confirmed Karla Beltran, who appears in the photos, was dismissed under the department’s “probationary dismissal” policy. Records show she had worked for the sheriff’s office since July. Read the full story at the link in our bio. (Photo courtesy of Nathan Buchanan)

Momina Iqbal’s husband, Hamza Habib, sarcastically jokes about their YouTube earnings, saying they are making so much money that they don’t even know where to put it. His remarks appear to be a subtle dig at Saqib Chadhar’s allegations that the controversy was created to gain publicity and earn money through YouTube. #HamzaHabib #MominaIqbal #SaqibChadhar
