What an incredible honor to join Captain Alex Lin’s @b787busdriver final United Airlines flight from Honolulu to San Francisco, celebrating 38-year flying career! ✈️👏

Captain Alex and I first connected on Instagram a few years ago when he started sharing his aviation journey. As one of the early Asian American pilots to join a major U.S. airline, he has been a true trailblazer, inspiring many aviators along the way through his posts.

What I admire most about Captain Alex is his humility. From humble beginnings working as a restaurant busboy to fly on the Boeing 747 into Kai Tak, he remains incredibly humble and down-to-earth.

Captain Alex brought his family, including his four grandchildren, along for this special journey. The highlight was witnessing his final landing at SFO — an absolutely smooth textbook landing, To make the occasion special, the @flysfo airport fire brigade came out to give him a well-deserved salute!

Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement, Captain Alex! Wishing you blue skies, tailwinds, and many wonderful adventures ahead. 🫡✈️

Hi gramily, here’s a reminder to get out of your head and get into everything that life has to offer you because it’s all on the other side of your perceptions!✨
Me, my story and my “I haven’t worked out in months” body were chosen for a Manorama cover shoot+ interview, and it was a reminder that what you perceive of yourself, isn’t what others perceive of you.🩵

With Carlos Prates seemingly next in line to take on the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world in Islam Makhachev, the Brazilian has been working on his wrestling at the gym alongside wrestling coach Eric Albarracin.

Prates calls himself a wrestler’s nightmare, but can he do enough before the fight to stop Makhachev’s grappling? 🤔
