#BlackGirlMagic! Claressa Shields is showing Angel Reese some love while sending a message to the haters! ❤️🏀🔥

During an interview with @SpiritualWord host Nia Celé (@theniacele), #ClaressaShields was asked if she had any words of encouragement for Black women like #AngelReese and the women of the #AtlantaDream.

The boxing champion explained that critics don’t realize how much their negativity can motivate the very people they’re trying to bring down. According to Claressa, when the hate gets louder, it only makes women like herself and Angel lock in even more!

Claressa went on to praise Angel’s development on the basketball court, pointing out that her game has grown beyond rebounding. From shooting threes and creating shots to crossing defenders over and boxing out, she made it clear that Angel has been putting in the work!

She also expressed how proud she is of Angel, saying she understands what it’s like to face constant criticism despite being successful.

“She’s hated on because she’s great,” Claressa said.

The conversation then turned to the #WNBA Finals, with Claressa celebrating Angel for reaching a goal she had manifested. She also confirmed that she plans to attend a Finals game in Atlanta, telling Nia that since she lives in the area, she’ll definitely be showing up to support!

Katie Zacharia’s time as White House press secretary has reportedly come to an abrupt end, just days after President Donald Trump appointed her to the position.

According to NBC News and Reuters, Zacharia was removed from the role after a brief tenure that began earlier this week. Her departure follows growing scrutiny surrounding her legal credentials and a rocky first appearance before White House reporters.

Zacharia, who replaced Karoline Leavitt, delivered her first White House press briefing on Tuesday (Oct. 13). The briefing lasted approximately 14 minutes, with Zacharia taking questions from just three news outlets before ending the session.

Questions about her professional background also surfaced after Trump introduced her as an attorney. Although Zacharia graduated from Pepperdine Law School, she acknowledged during an interview with Fox News that she did not pass the bar exam and never attempted it again. She has maintained that she worked in international transaction law while living in China.

Speaking to reporters Friday (Oct. 16), Trump said he had encouraged Zacharia to reconsider the position because of the intense public scrutiny. He also defended her against criticism from the media. Her departure comes less than a week after her appointment was announced.
