250KG. MY BIGGEST DEADLIFT EVER AT JUST 67.5KG BODYWEIGHT! 🇦🇺🔥

Just 6kg away (255.5kg) from the heaviest deadlift all time ever performed by a woman in the 67.5kg weight class. 🤯
I think this is the first time I’ve ever cried after a lift. 🥹

After two long years of setbacks, lost confidence and no training PRs in sight, I felt like I was going backwards. I’d lost my enjoyment but I still never missed out on one single session in this time. I kept putting in the work, hoping it would eventually pay off, even when I felt nowhere near my potential. But I never gave up, because I am not someone who quits when it gets hard.

Fast-forward 8 weeks working with @australianstrengthcoach I’ve achieved more than I ever imagined. The switch has flipped, and I’m starting to realise how much potential I have.

I went to Bas straight after the American Pro, when I was at my lowest. He believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself and reminded me that my time was only just beginning.

When he told me I’d pull 250kg in the gym, I honestly didn’t believe him. But he saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself. Today, we proved what’s possible with the right support in your corner.

Bas thank you for believing in me when I struggled to believe in myself. In just a short time you’ve helped me find my confidence and my love for this sport even more than I had ever imagined. Your belief in me from day one, and your willingness to coach me now throughout my career, means more than words can say. I’ll forever be grateful for you and what we are going to build together!

DECEMBER 12TH CAN’T COME SOON ENOUGH! 🇦🇺❤️‍🔥🔥
