💭It’s easy to look at people and think they have it all figured out. They’re always on time, have their finances in order, work out regularly and eat well. But we only see the outside. Nobody’s life runs smoothly all the time! In my work, I meet a lot of people who feel disappointed in themselves when they can’t stick to the training routine they planned. Little by little, they lose their rhythm, and before they know it, they feel like they have to start all over again. Maybe that’s you right now? 🔑 But a plan can’t only work when everything goes smoothly. It should also make room for real life: busy days, poor sleep, sick days , changed plans and periods when you have less energy. 📉 Progress is rarely a straight line. There will be pauses and detours. What helps us move forward is being able to adjust the plan and speak to ourselves with a little more compassion. It’s easy to beat yourself up for a missed workout or a meal that didn’t go to plan. Remember to give yourself credit, too—for the workouts you did manage and for the times you found your way back. 👆🏼 You don’t have to start over. You can simply carry on from where you are, with the capacity you have right now🩷 Just a little reminder, cuz we see so many quotes about giving 100% or nothing at all. Sometimes, I think we need to learn to meet ourselves somewhere in the middle. 🤍

Grindr is training its AI on your photos, your age, and your taps by default, without asking. This video shows where the app buried the off switch. The stakes are particularly high on an app like Grindr. Numerous countries criminalize same-sex relations, so being outed through your data can be dangerous. In 2021, Norway’s privacy regulator fined Grindr for sharing user data with advertisers without valid consent. The same year, Monsignor Jeffrey Burrill, then the general secretary of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, resigned after a Catholic news site said it obtained commercially available records of when and where devices had used Grindr, and correlated one to him. And last month, Grindr agreed to pay £26 million to settle UK users’ claims from UK users who alleged the app shared their personal information (in some cases including HIV status) with outside companies. The company admitted no liability. Grindr’s AI, trained on your data by default, now powers EDGE—a premium subscription the company has tested at prices as much as $350 a month.
#NEWS: Tesla unveiled its next generation Roadster featuring SpaceX inspired thrusters, with reservation deposits reportedly ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 depending on the version. The electric supercar was originally announced with a starting price of $200,000 in 2017, but official pricing for the redesigned model has yet to be confirmed. Production is currently expected in 2028.
Just want to make sure I’m understanding this correctly.
