Indian-origin people gathered outside the Indian High Commission in London and danced in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as political tensions continued over protests linked to the alleged issue of vote theft in India. YouTuber Dhruv Rathee had appealed to people in London to join a protest against alleged vote theft. He urged people to gather near Mahatma Gandhi’s statue in Parliament Square at 12 PM on October 17. The developments have brought two contrasting demonstrations into focus, with Rathee calling for people to raise their voices over allegations concerning India’s electoral process, while members of the Indian diaspora expressed support for PM Modi. The issue of alleged vote theft has become a political flashpoint in India, with opposition leaders accusing the Election Commission of India of failing to ensure fair elections. The allegations have been disputed, and the Election Commission has defended its electoral processes. Rathee has frequently commented on Indian politics and government policies through his YouTube videos. His appeal for a demonstration in London extended the debate to Indians living abroad.
PROTEIN POWDER 101! + 3 protein smoothie recipes below πŸ‘‡ with @formnutrition (the protein I’ve used for 8 years) AD! As a qualified trainer, Form performance protein is the protein I have always recommended. It ticks the Leucine threshold (albeit debated, it’s still important!) where many other brands fall short. It also blends really well into smoothies, no chalky texture, and is Informed Sport Certified (the gold standard for independent testing!) My favourite flavour is chocolate peanut! Tastes like a a snickers bar 😊 I find if you eat them with food, in smoothies or an oat bowl / bake, they taste great every time. Protein smoothie 3 ways: Snickers-in-a-glass: 250ml soy milk 1 serving of Form Performance Protein (Chocolate Peanut Flavour) 3 tbsp rolled oats 1 tbsp chia seeds Creatine (optional) 2 tsp peanut butter Pinch of sea salt 1 Ice cube Dash of water if needed for blending consistency Green Goddess Smoothie: 250ml Soy Milk 1 serving of Form Performance Protein (Vanilla Flavour) 1 small banana 1 medium handful of spinach 2 tsp almond butter 1 tbsp chia seeds Pinch of sea salt 1 ice cube Dash of water if needed for blending consistency Blueberry & Almond Butter Smoothie: 250ml Soy Milk 1 serving of Form Performance Protein (Vanilla Flavour) 1 handful of blueberries (fresh or frozen) 3 tbsp rolled oats 2 tsp almond butter 1 tbsp chia seeds Pinch of sea salt 1 ice cube Dash of water if needed for blending consistency Method: Place ingredients in a blender cup and blend until very smooth, adding more water if you prefer a thinner consistency! Pour over ice and enjoy. Much love, Sophx #protein #plantbased #personaltrainer
