Today is World Mental Health Day, a day that holds a deeply personal meaning for our family. For us, grief and loss aren’t things we reflect on just one day a year. They are realities we carry with us every single day. We’ve experienced firsthand how fragile life can be, how fleeting time is, and how important it is to be present for the moments we are given. While we cannot change the heartbreak we’ve endured, we can choose to move forward with purpose and turn our pain into something meaningful. Our work with the Kids Mental Health Foundation has truly been one of the greatest gifts to our family. In so many ways, it has helped us heal. It has given us an opportunity to honor those we’ve lost, give back to our community, and use our family’s platform to help create meaningful change. We believe so deeply in the importance of early intervention and prevention. We cannot protect our children from every challenge life will bring, but we can help equip them with the emotional tools, confidence, and support they need to navigate those challenges. Mental health touches every single one of us, whether through our own experiences or through someone we love. Through the generosity of our community, we’ve helped raise over $1.8 million for this incredible organization. That is something we are deeply proud of, but even more meaningful is knowing the impact this work can have on children and families for generations to come. To the extraordinary doctors, researchers, and mental health professionals at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Kids Mental Health Foundation: thank you. You are the true leaders behind this mission. We are simply honored to help amplify your work and be a small part of the difference you are making. Our hope is that by sharing our story and continuing this work, we can help create a world where children feel supported, families feel less alone, and conversations about mental health begin long before a crisis. Because every child deserves the opportunity to grow up feeling seen, heard, loved, and supported. 🦋

They say if you love your job, you never work a day in your life. I think you have to love your coworkers for that to be true. Would you love your job if I was at your office? 😊
