In theory...far in the future, we can save a small fraction of the observable universe from inevitable dark energy event horizon. Perhaps a few billion galaxies, a supercluster or two, all disassembled star by star over billions of years to form a computronium/fuel supply Dyson gigasphere, perhaps a million light years across, to sustain consciousness in the universe for uncountable eons after all else is forever swept away in an eye link of cosmic time.
