Behind every “gym girl” is a girl who had no idea where to start.

Hello! I am Monique—a girl who fell in love with exercise at a young age after being overweight for most of her childhood years and discovered she can enjoy sweets in moderation. I am a coach, personal trainer, and injury rehab specialist who cares a lot about people and helping them become happy in the skin they are in. 🩷

Ten years ago, I was someone who used to take laxatives, appetite suppressants, and slimming green tea. I thought eating a protein bar and an apple for lunch before doing three or more hours of physical activity was the answer. I was someone who tried to get as small as humanly possible.

It took me collapsing in the bathroom after a run to have a wake-up call: what I was doing was not the answer.

The next few years were a rollercoaster of trying to find what works best for me and my body: What did I love about training? What way of eating could I maintain in the long run? What did I want to achieve?

I’ve been on both sides of the spectrum: eating too little, eating too much, eating for emotional comfort, training too little, training too much, etc.

I’m here to help you discover a way of eating and training that complements the life you live. I want to make you feel confident inside & outside of the gym and help you love the skin you are in. If this resonates with you, DM me “CHANGE”, and let’s see if we are compatible working together. 🩵
