Traveling together has been its own little lesson in how differently we move through life. I like a plan, an itinerary, knowing where we’re going next. Donovan is perfectly happy figuring it out as we go. 😂 Funny enough, we’re both pretty organized and structured people, we just have very different ideas of what that looks like when we travel (ahem ahem… it’s a Virgo thing). Somewhere between the itinerary and figuring it out along the way, we’ve found our rhythm. It hasn’t all been postcard moments. We’ve gotten annoyed, had our little moments, changed plans, gotten tired… and then somehow ended up laughing about it over food an hour later. Lisbon was a lot of that. Learning when to stick to the plan and when to just let the day happen. Mostly just enjoying being somewhere new together, experiencing it in our own way, and making memories we’ll probably talk about for years. Turns out it was never really about the itinerary. It was about who I got to share it all with. Portugal, you were good to us. 🇵🇹🤎
