Recent projects! Been doing a lot of refining and exploring to find some crafts I'm proud enough of to try and pedal to the proverbial masses.

First slide is the latest floral wall art, frame found at the DI. I shudder to imagine how much the frame would've cost brand new. 💀 ☠️

Last slides are pictures of my latest crochet earring holder prototype! A little mountain and moon scene. The moon and stars are stitched in with glow in the dark yarn. 🌙 Still figuring out the best style for these bad boys, but experimenting has been neat, and I'm really pleased with how this came out!

Oooo! Well done!

Some places, over time, become so much more than a workplace. They become home.

After so many years travelling and working around the world, being able to return to Italy and find a place where I can bring my ideas to life, express my artistic vision and tell stories through dance is a precious gift, one I will never take for granted.

Thank you all for being always so supportive from all over the world ❤️

Visiting the Dohány Street Synagogue in Budapest with @tom_bernthal was deeply meaningful. Opened in 1859, it is Europe’s largest synagogue and a place of profound significance in Jewish history.

During the Holocaust, the synagogue complex became part of the Budapest ghetto, where thousands of Jews died from starvation, cold, and violence. More than 2,000 victims were buried in its courtyard, including 1,170 who were never identified. Seeing the names of those buried here, and remembering those whose names we do not know, was devastating. Each was a person with a family, a story, whose future was taken from them.

Tom and I also visited the Tree of Life memorial on the synagogue’s grounds. Shaped like a weeping willow, its metal leaves bear the names of Holocaust victims, preserving their memory for generations to come.

What stayed with me was that this sacred place continues to hold both remembrance and Jewish life. Today, people still gather here to pray and find community. I left feeling grateful to those who preserve its history and deeply aware of our responsibility to carry these stories forward, honor those we lost, and stand against antisemitism.
