I was alone for my first night in Paris and asked @noorarajbrown to dinner but she had a better idea: the ballet! We saw L’Histoire de Manon, which was beautiful (it’s about a young French girl, torn between the love of her life and her desire for wealth and luxury). The best part was getting to see Palais Garnier before it closes for its multi-year renovation! It was the real-life inspiration for The Phantom of the Opera and has to be one of the most beautiful, opulent buildings I’ve ever seen. The Chagall frescoes on the ceiling!

Authorities provided disturbing new details in the case of the infant known as "Baby Angelita," who was found dead on the side of a road in Monterey County in August. At a Thursday news conference, investigators revealed how they believe the infant died -- likely run over by a car that was driven by the 14-year-old mother. According to authorities, DNA evidence shows that Baby Angelita was born to the teenage victim after she was impregnated by her father, Sergio Galvez Perez. The teen and her father were missing for several weeks, but Galvez Perez was arrested in Mexico, and the teen was rescued earlier this month. Read more at the link in bio.
Good mornin’ Prague :)
Vilken vecka!
