Who wouldve thought, that through high school, I ended with a rifle solo while performing with a full face of makeup and a sparkly costume- and not marching on flute. One things for sure though, I love performing in front of people. Music and Dance combined into my favorite activity. Performing and dancing for an audience, to a 7 minute show people get to watch and enjoy or jumping and dancing to a song on a tarp in a gym. While happily sharing the field with your favorite people.
Unfortunately, my time performing has been cut short. I usually don’t let injuries get the best of me, however there is always a limit that sometimes you just can’t control. To band and color guard, you were the best thing I’ve ever signed up for and I’m glad I stuck with it til the end. To my directors, leadership team, and sections, thank you for making every rehearsal and performance worth every minute. To the History our program has made, I hope and pray we can continue grow and improve to make ourselves more known. And to my PC band family, go win it all.🤍
