SERIES TITLE: “EUPHORIA AND INNOCENCE”

PAINTING TITLE: …………………………………

The residency during which this painting was produced provided the space and feedback necessary to refine these thematic explorations, leading to the creation of diptychs that juxtapose past and present versions of myself within similar settings. These diptychs represent a technical progression in my work. But more importantly, they offer a more profound engagement with the emotional and psychological dimensions of memory and identity. Placing different temporal versions of myself in dialogue, these works emphasize the passage of time and the evolving understanding of who we are. Through the Euphoria and Innocence series, I was able to further investigate how personal and familial relationships influence our sense of self, ultimately marking a significant maturation in my artistic practice.
