Last night was one to remember! It’s around 10pm on October 17th, 2024, and I’m sitting down to dinner with some true legends of the automotive industry—people I’ve admired for years. Just being in the room was an honor, let alone being nominated for an award.
An hour later, I was completely blown away when Ashwell Motors took home not one, but THREE awards! 😳 I’m beyond proud.
For the past 15 years, we’ve been fine-tuning the Ashwell Motors experience, embracing new technology, building our skills just trying to do best for our customers. It’s been an incredible journey, and this recognition means so much.
A huge thank you to Servicesure Autocentres Community for nominating us and to the sponsors—GSF, Delphi, Purple, Kingfisher, Mann, and more—for the support and gifts. Special shoutout to the award winning Ben Spencer…so well deserved and not forgetting Matt Warren for …listening 🤣🤣
Table 3, thank you for a great night. There’s nothing better than celebrating with a group of like-minded people, supporting each other’s successes.
The biggest thank you though, goes to the Ashwell Motors team. You are the heart of this business, and I can’t thank you enough for everything you do.
To top it all off, I even won a fiver from a rogue trader what more could
You ask for 🤣 Anyway it’s Time for bed now... early start tomorrow!
The next day…started with a 6am Fire alarm and a nice walk around a foggy Coombe Abbey, then it was time to hit the M6 that for once wasn’t too bad and I was able to make it back at work, armed with our awards just in time to buy the dinners 🫶🏻
Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Finally, I want to dedicate these awards to our friend and team member, Jenna Best, who we recently lost. Jenna, you taught us to smile, be kind, and laugh—ALOT. We miss you. RIP ❤️
