Nestor Gomez's "80 Minutes Around the World: Immigration Stories" showcases the faces and voices of immigrants, descendants of immigrants, and their allies. Here are some excerpts from the latest edition (10/18), which spanned Spanish-speakers' lived experiences from Perú, Argentina, México, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Guatemala, as well as many Chicago "parks" -- Humboldt Park, Albany Park, and Rogers Park. These storytellers made us laugh and cry, but most of all, they shared their "why!" As Nestor reminded us, now, more than ever, these stories demonstrate compassion for HUMANITY. We need to hear stories like these.
