Hot Wheels cars have changed quite a bit over the years, and the difference is especially noticeable when you flip them over.

Older models often featured detailed undercarriages with visible exhaust systems, drivetrains, and suspension components. Over time, many newer models have shifted toward simpler, flatter designs.

The comparison shows how even the smallest details in everyday toys can change over time, making older Hot Wheels especially nostalgic for collectors.

Never been this wound up in a sauna…🤬🥵

We met with the FSAI to ask them (on the public’s behalf) what their feelings were regarding the EU push to harmonise maximum permitted levels of nutrients and further regulate our already highly regulated and very safe food supplement market. I had 2 major takeaways:

1) they either hadn’t thought of the potential that nutrients might be beneficial and that balancing the perceived potential harms against the very evident benefits would be a smart move on behalf of the Irish population’s HEALTH - OR - their scientific advisory board who are the ones making our submissions to the EC as to what the Irish population should have available to us are subject to forces beyond our control…cos nothing else makes sense.

2) they had zero statistics to offer as to any ACTUAL harms that had taken place in the Irish population from nutrient toxicity from supplement overdosing. Instead they had SHUT DOWN the nutrivigilence program that they piloted back in 2021. Due to a lack of available funds…which means it’s basically not a priority….which means there’s a very low risk of harm…which brings us back to that first question.

If there’s a very low theoretical risk from nutrient supplements, of which nearly all are 100% reversible when we just stop taking the supplement. And if lots of people experience benefits currently. And lots of studies reinforce that this isn’t just placebo from consuming some witchy snake oil. Then…why are the EU insisting on policing and further limiting safe nutrient supplements sales in a well regulated market…? It’s giving strong witch hunt vibes and I don’t like it. You?
