She revealed that during this time in her life and career, she was hustling at 40-something with girls in their 20s. She said, “I was in my early 40s, but a lot of people didn’t even know that I was that old. Most of the girls who was in the industry with me, all the video girls, they was in their 20s, 23—honey, I was already in [my] 40s. I was old. But no one knew. They don’t like you telling your age.” Buffie also said she “didn’t choose the industry, it chose her,” adding that she “never ever wanted to be a model, never, never.” She said, “It’s not something I was trying to do.” She later went on to reveal what led to her leaving the industry.
