Thank you to everyone for all the love and prayers in this time.❤️‍🩹 It’s been the hardest week of our lives. I ended up in the hospital as I was having the miscarriage. It was a really traumatic experience as I was hemorrhaging and bleeding to the point of passing out. I got an emergency D&C and a blood transfusion and I’m recovering well. But even through all of that, we saw the hand of God protecting us and caring for us in the pain.❤️ So many people have come together to care for us. It’s been beautiful to see just how loved this baby was❤️ And a HUGE thank you to my husbands boss for giving him more than a week off to grieve with me, care for me and hold through this time❤️ Thank you all again for the love, prayers and scripture verses.🤍🕊️❤️‍🩹
What does fish oil actually do? Fish oil is mostly talked about for heart health, but it does a lot more than just that… From regulating inflammation in the body, to brain health, even to how your body burns fat and builds muscle But it’s not the fish oil that causes all these benefits, it’s the omega-3’s inside of them (EPA + DHA) And here’s where supplements can get SUPER misleading… The clinical dose for most benefits is at least 1-2g+ of combined EPA + DHA per day But 1g of “fish oil” doesn’t mean 1g of EPA + DHA… (why it’s important to check the label) Most standard formulas only contain around 300mg combined EPA + DHA per serving while still having “1-2g” of total fish oil (meaning you’d need 20+ pills just to get enough EPA + DHA to make a difference) I’m not sponsored by any supplement company, and I don’t make any money if you buy them, but here are several brands I like/trust that hit the clinical dose: Legion Athletics Triton — 2.4g/serving
Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega 2X — 2g/serving
Gorilla Mind Omega-3 Elixir — 2.g/serving NoordCode Algea Omega-3 (vegan option) — 2g/serving (these aren’t the only ones that exist, just the ones I’ve found and trust) RESEARCH: Fish Oil & Depression PMID: 21939614 PMID: 12365878 PMID: 17659823 Fish Oil & Body Composition PMID: 36822153 Fish Oil & Cognition PMID: 36381743  PMID: 30111738 #supplements #supplement #gym #workout #fitness
