I’ve always been fascinated by the majesty of the Andean condor. A magnificent bird, capable of soaring to extraordinary heights and looking out over our Andes from above.

As a designer, I wanted to capture that greatness in a boot. I worked with its colors, textures, and volumes to express its strength and elegance, but above all, to carry a piece of our Peruvian identity through my work.

And to think that an inspiration born in our mountains ended up walking the streets of New York is something that fills me with pride. 🇵🇪🗽

Because that’s what I strive for with every creation: to show the world just how much Peruvian design has to offer.

And you, what do you think of my interpretation of our Andean condor? I’d love to hear your thoughts. 🤎

Túto nežnú uspávanku a videoklip k nej.

President Trump’s new press secretary, Katie Zacharia, describes herself as a lawyer, and the president has called her “an attorney.” But three days into her job, Zacharia is facing questions about her credentials.

When she was asked on Tuesday in which state she passed the bar exam, she twice replied, “When I moved to China.”

She graduated with a law degree from Pepperdine University in 2011. By some interpretations, that technically makes her a lawyer, though many legal experts said it would not. But to be an attorney, someone who is licensed to practice law and give legal advice, she would have needed to pass the bar. The New York Times was unable to find a law license for her in California, or anywhere else she has lived in the U.S.

In an interview on Wednesday, she said the confusion is the result of a misunderstanding. At the link in our bio, learn more about what we found and what Zacharia told our reporter. Photo by @kenny_holston

It’s always china 🥀

You know the mood. The caption starts with furious conspiracy energy, and then the picture shows something else entirely. The post kicks off blaming China for election influence, and the visuals answer with a giant collage of American and Israeli flags. The joke is in the mismatch, not the politics. It is a classic online left turn where someone yells at the wrong country and the image politely corrects them.

Memes love to feed on confusion, and this one serves it up perfectly. The text on top expresses outrage about foreign influence, while the stage display doubles down on a different foreign relationship. That gap between claim and evidence is where the humor lives. You do not need a deep dive into policy or headlines to enjoy the absurdity, just a recognition that many hot takes are more theatrical than factual.

If you are scrolling and try to treat the image as an authoritative source, remember that internet memes are opinion dressed in stage lights. The visuals here look like a big conference or rally backdrop, filled with stars and stripes and blue hexagrams. Whether you see satire, an editing joke, or a deliberate provocation, the point remains the same: context matters and quick conclusions can be entertainingly wrong.

Share this with the friend who always leaps to blame the nearest foreign power. It is a gentle reminder to look twice before dunking on geopolitics, and also proof that the internet will always find a way to make you laugh at your own certainty 😂✨
