CQB PRINCIPLES

Effective CQB is an art form not a science. It’s a very broad subject and must be approached with respect.

Ive had the privilege of operating, training and teaching the craft Globally, In a wide array of environments ranging from kill-houses to 747s, subways, buses, ships, schools and hospitals all the way to tents in the desert.

Over the years, I’ve been blessed to have been selected to deliver training to a full and varied spectrum of students. Ranging from serving and aspiring members of UKSF, SWAT teams, Foreign Military units all the way to indigenous partner forces.

Every unit has a unique mission set. The roles of a Tier 1 Hostage rescue unit are extremely different to a SWAT team or CTSFO unit executing warrants on domestic soil.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that CQB is a world full of variables in which Tactics & drills will always have limitations.

Employment of PRINCIPLE BASED CQB, guided by threat priority and glued together by predictably and timing will always be more effective in any environment than rigid doctrine.

No matter what the situation, Corners will always need clearing, sectors will always require scanning, body language will always need to be clear, angle’s will always need to be improved and distance will always need to be respected. It’s non negotiable.

The Internet will have you belive CQB is complex and elaborate and that running fast and shooting quick equals effectiveness. This is an amateur outlook.

True professionals know that it’s not just how fast you press a trigger or run a wall. It’s about how fast you can process information, read physical & human terrain, PID targets, and think 3 moves ahead! Shooting is the easy bit!

Be a Pro.

🔥🔥🔥 NWA 🔥🔥🔥Second Hour X Islander Gin Clear Mk3 Limited Edition Watch. Yes I know, two Gin Clears in less than 60 days but they are both great watches but also Limited/Special Editions so it had to be done. This one is limited to 100 pieces and I’m not sure how many are still left but they are still available on the site. I was told about half of them may have been sold as of two weeks ago when I bought this.

I have said it before and I will repeat it. This is a lot of watch for the money.

I was about to drive down to the fancy Rolex beach down south but I got the side eye from Jennifer. No complaints though and always grateful.

Beautiful warm day out on the beach. You could not ask for better out here.

The usual photos and videos. A blue crab down in the water. The last video shows an Osprey out fishing with a cameo by Jennifer.
