Aurangzeb ruled an empire, but he wanted to earn his own living.

Despite being one of the most powerful rulers in the world, the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb is remembered for his efforts to earn money through his own work.

He reportedly sewed prayer caps and sold them, alongside earning money from copying the Qur’an. He sought to avoid using the royal treasury for his personal expenses, preferring to live from what he earned himself.

For Aurangzeb, ruling an empire did not mean abandoning personal religious principles.

A powerful reminder that, in his understanding of Islam, even an emperor should value an honest, halal livelihood.

The beginning of something special. 💜

3 wins out of 4, plenty of lessons, and memories that will stay with us.

Proud of what we’ve built together and grateful to everyone who made this first season special. This is just the beginning. We’ll learn, grow, and come back stronger.

Thank you for being part of the Yarl Dinkers journey 💜💛🤍

This weekend it’s the battle of the 👑 multi-timezone clocks ~ the old and the current GMT Master II.

I was lucky to add the Bruce Wayne last year to celebrate my milestone birthday. Not long to go before the sun before the sun completes another lap and not a secret NWA on the horizon. Who knows if something will come about in the next couple of weeks.

And then there is my favourite of all 👑 GMTs the 1999 Coke. If I was to only have one this would be it. There is something special about the older one.

So which is your first preference?
