2 years agoThis is the good news: We have all sinned & fallen short of the glory of God says Romans 3:23, & the wages of sin is death says Romans 6:23, but it goes on to say that the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. God shows His love for us with the fact that while yet we were still sinners Christ died for us "Romans 5:8". For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ) that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life "John 3:16". Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins & paid the penalty in full for us, & then resurrected from the dead so that we could have the chance to go to heaven. Romans 10:9 says that for you to be saved you confess with your mouth: "Jesus is Lord" & believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead & you will be saved. Repent & give your life to Christ lest you perish. This gift is open to everyone "Romans 1:16" It was even open to Adolf Hitler, but time ran out for him. You who live, give your life to Christ before it's too late "Revelation 20:15". When we are saved we can no longer live a lifestyle of sin, but rather we must live for the one who died, who paid the penalty of our sins, & rose from the dead so that we could be with Him in paradise "2 Corinthians 5:15" If you sin, repent, ask Jesus to forgive you & turn away from sin. This doesn't mean that now you have to live a perfect life, but you must cut out the things that cause you sin, & have the intent of not doing it again "Matthew 3:8 & 5:29-30." Use God's strength to break free, lest you fail & potentially commit pride by thinking you can do it on your own "Proverbs 3:5-6". That's like saying "I don't need God", but the truth is that we all do. In John 14:6 it says that Jesus is the way, the truth, & the life & that no one will come to the Father except through Him. We must humble ourselves & acknowledge that we need Him & that He's the only way. We must follow Christ, walk in Spirit, & abide in the Light. Forgive others as well, for if you don't forgive others, the Father in heaven won't forgive you "Matthew 6:14-15". Also, do not abuse God's grace. Jesus Christ will be returning soon "Revelation 22:20"
