#NEWS: Former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger has been released on parole after serving seven years of her 10 year sentence for the 2018 murder of 26 year old Botham Jean.

Guyger was convicted in 2019 after fatally shooting Jean inside his own apartment, claiming she mistakenly entered the wrong unit and believed he was an intruder.

The Texas parole board cited her prison conduct and completion of rehabilitation programs in approving her release. Her initial parole request was denied in 2024.

Guyger will remain under parole supervision until her sentence expires in 2029. Jean’s family opposed the decision and has requested privacy as they continue to grieve their loss.

Разлетаемся ❤️

Recently, you might have noticed us at a diamond store in Heartbeat (for those who don’t know, it was a scene from our series ). And this is what happened next! Honestly, I wasn’t a fan of lab grown diamonds earlier. Then came a phase of confusion, but today, I find myself preferring them. Personally, I feel they align better with my politics and values, the thought of avoiding mining related environmental damage and the possibility of supporting more ethical practices, including reducing the risk of child labour, makes me feel better about my choice. These are purely my personal thoughts and reasons. ❤️

Coming to the store, I genuinely loved their collection! The designs were beautiful, the prices were reasonable, and I ended up shopping for myself and picking up a few gifts too.

And just to be clear, this isn’t a paid post. I paid for all my purchases myself. I simply liked what I saw and wanted to share it with you all.

So, here I am, showing off my new little sparkles to you too from @wondrdiamonds

18 years ago… I surprised everyone including my husband! Childhood dream… have @therealonj finish the song of your first wedding dance live!
Jesse was so confused. 😂 He said, “Sara, our wedding singer looks just like Olivia Newton-John.” I said, “THAT IS OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN!” ❤️ 18 years later, you’re still my biggest cheerleader and the person who makes me laugh the hardest @jesseitzler.
Happy anniversary to my favorite plot twist. Still hopelessly devoted. ❤️ #JustLoveHim

Mississippi officials have determined that a police officer was justified in a shooting that k*lled a 1-year-old Black boy outside a Walmart earlier this year.

On Monday (Oct. 19), Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office announced that no criminal charges would be filed against the officer involved in the June 14 d3ath of Kohen Wiley (pictured), who was f*tally shot while sitting inside a vehicle with his mother in Senatobia, Mississippi. The decision follows an investigation conducted by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.

The sh00ting occurred after officers responded to a reported sh*plifting incident involving diapers and baby clothing at Walmart. According to authorities, officers attempted to stop a vehicle carrying Kohen, his mother, Vellesiya Wiley, and another woman. Investigators initially claimed the driver accelerated toward officers, nearly striking one of them, prompting an officer to open fire. Kohen was k•lled, and the woman driving the vehicle was cr•tically injured. Neither woman has been charged with shoplifting.

However, Kohen’s mother has disputed the police account, maintaining that the vehicle was not driving toward officers. Civil rights attorney Ben Crump, who represents the family, previously revealed that an independent autopsy indicated the bullet that k•lled Kohen entered from the side of his chest. Crump argued that the findings challenged the official explanation that the officer fired because the vehicle was approaching law enforcement.

The child’s d*ath sparked protests and demands for accountability, with his family repeatedly calling for authorities to release body-camera footage of the sh00ting. During an emotional press conference, Kohen’s mother said:

“I watched my baby take his first breath, and I watched my baby take his last breath.”

Despite the family’s concerns, the Attorney General’s Office concluded that the officer’s use of deadly force was justified. We continue to send our condolences to the family 🙏🏽
