Allt, jämt, video of our previous exhibition w. Karin Blomgren and Astrid Sleire. Karin has presented a work that included an architectural conception with sound and movement.

The artists recognize a shared interest when observing, looking at art and the world around them, as if searching in the same places.

The question is posed: What are you looking at? It could be a color, a space, or a construction.

Their gaze often stops at something that is built, assembled from parts, something that might be called architectural. They are intrigued by the pursuit of a process leading to a tension just before an imminent collapse. The moment right before it breaks, topples, or dissolves. Both practices involve experimentation, a movement in the form and/or installation towards something precarious, a balancing act where the construction holds while also expressing something immediate.

The Exhibition is supported by the Arts Council Norway (Kulturrådet).
