There is an enduring tenderness in the love of a mother to a son, that transcends all other affections of the heart, I was totally shocked, and surprised to see my son, Bishop, Anthony Gardner walk into my church Sunday.

The Lord knows I love my children and I have been so blessed to recently see both my babies, Terrie Rimson and Bishop-Elect Anthony Gardner. Thank you to everyone that had a part in this surprise. My Pastors Aid pulled this off without me knowing anything. It was the icing on the cake for my pastoral anniversary. I literally lost my breath seeing him. Phone calls are great, but nothing beats a visit.

I will always hold my children close in my heart and I thank God for every opportunity to hold them in my arms. I love you Son, and thank you for coming all the way across the country to visit your mommy. My heart is yet overflowing with joy. St. James Cathedral of Faith was blessed by a mighty word, and we thank God for the tremendous blessing.
