CHANEL X BFI NEW FILMMAKER AWARDS 2026: Celebrating Creative Audacity It was my great privilege to join the jury alongside Jessie Buckley, @edward_enninful @marielouisekhondji and Ben Roberts for this special award. All recipients demonstrate an impressive vibrancy within the UK independent filmmaking space – incredibly talented people with personal and powerful messages to communicate, and the vision and creativity to tell those stories in an extraordinary way. This award will hopefully enable them to expand their work and explore new ideas, cultivate co-creation and knowledge exchange, and widen the representation of voices in today’s cultural community. The Awards support the BFI’s mission to back the next generation of UK independent filmmaking talent. Congratulations to all the very deserving winners of this prize! I urge you to seek out their work! Rich Felgate ‘We The Hated’ @olivenwosu ‘Lady’ @imranperretta ‘Ish’ @rachel_taparjan ‘Something Familiar’ Thank you @chanelofficial @britishfilminstitute 🖤 🎥

Our Friday night ritual: everyone home, everyone in their Crocs slippers from Zappos, and no one in a hurry to go anywhere. Even the boys race to grab theirs first. 🍿 They’re soft, cozy, and easy to slip on, which is exactly the energy we want after a long week. Comment SHOP for links to our @crocs slippers on @zappos #ad #zappospartner Hi, I’m Katie, 41, SAHM of two boys (6 & 8), and this account is basically my group chat. Violent clashes erupted between protesters and riot police in Paris on Tuesday, leaving officers injured and sprawled on the ground as nationwide student demonstrations over deteriorating school conditions continued. Footage shows riot police charging at protesters during fierce street confrontations, with injured officers seen on the ground and others retreating. Police also deployed water cannons to disperse the crowds. The latest violence marks another flashpoint in a protest movement that has swept across France, leaving hundreds injured, thousands detained and hundreds of schools disrupted. Some school buildings have also been damaged or set ablaze. #France #Paris #Student #CMO #HespressEng
