Former Kenyan television journalist Esther Arunga has officially dropped her husband Quincy Timberlake’s surname and reverted to her former name, Esther Adongo Arunga. The change was formalised on October 2, 2026, and published in the Kenya Gazette.
Arunga adopted the Timberlake surname after their marriage in 2010. The couple later moved to Australia, where their three year old son, Sinclair, died in 2014. Arunga was sentenced to 10 months in prison in 2019 for being an accessory to the offence, while Timberlake was sentenced to 11 years in prison for manslaughter in 2023.
The reason behind her decision to drop the surname has not been disclosed.

I watched a love story and came away thinking about windows. As one does. 😁

Did you notice this too, or were you busy falling for Ashley and Justin?

And what else did I miss in this gem?

A tiny detail, a visual connection, something happening in the background?

Tell me. Give me another reason to rewatch. ❤️
