@joshdamn_23 inspired characters based on me speculating the aftermath of the Halloween post. A classic pair of buddy cops

-Sheriff Dexter- A tired and experienced man assigned to a local police department who knows that Monsters exist, and is tired and done with the antics. He's proven they exist and has resources, but barely anyone wants to stay stationed where the monsters frequent, and he's had no way to trace them until recently. Able to conceal innumerable things under his vest, takes much more pains to be by the book in the face of situations and keeps his deputy in check unless the situation calls for it.

-Deputy Boothmolder- Along with a couple other conspiracy theorists, Boothmolder is a crazed monster hunter given credibility on accident by Dexter, and is assigned to him mainly to keep her away from everyone else. She's way too enthusiastic about catching Monsters and waits for excuses to rough them up, all while keeping a smile on her face. She might not be human, but what she specifically could be is up to debate.
