I have a solo stove. Is that lid worth buying for it?

Round 2 soon! 💛

In keeping with a beautiful Italian tradition that meant so much to my Nonna, our family will be gathering to celebrate a Mass in honor of the first anniversary of her passing. 🤍

In our Italian Catholic tradition,
we gather one year after a loved one’s passing to pray for their soul and honor their memory.

Not because we’ve learned how to say goodbye,
but because some love is simply too beautiful to ever let go.

It’s hard to believe an entire year has passed without my Nonna Romana.

A year without her voice,
her warm embrace,
and the love she poured into everything she did.
A love that lived in her kitchen,
around her table,
and in the hearts of everyone lucky enough to be loved by her.

Traditions like these were sacred to my Nonna.

They were the threads that connected generations,
kept families together,
and reminded us of where we came from.

And so,
in continuing this tradition,
I feel like we’re honoring her in the way she would have wanted.

A year has passed,
but her place at our table,
in our hearts,
and in our family will always be hers.

And perhaps that’s how we keep the people we love close.
By continuing the beautiful things they taught us.

Please join our family for Nonna Romana’s One-Year Anniversary Mass.

Saturday, October 24th at 11:00 AM
Sacred Hearts–St. Stephen Church
125 Summit Street, Brooklyn, NY

Refreshments will follow.

Whether you knew my Nonna personally or came to love her through the stories, recipes, and memories I’ve shared over the years, it would mean so much to me to have you there.

She spent her life bringing people together, and I can’t think of a more beautiful way to honor her than to do just that, one more time. 🙏🏻
