The medieval era, also known as the Middle Ages, lasted roughly from 500 to 1500 CE in European history, beginning after the fall of the Western Roman Empire. It was the age of castles, knights, kings, peasants, monasteries, and powerful religious institutions. Most people lived in rural communities and worked in agriculture, while nobles controlled large estates. Despite its reputation for ignorance and violence, the period also saw the founding of universities, the construction of magnificent Gothic cathedrals, and major advances in agriculture, architecture, and scholarship.

Life during the Middle Ages varied enormously depending on wealth, location, and century. The period witnessed the Black Death, Crusades, Viking raids, feudal conflicts, and the Hundred Years’ War, but also thriving cities, trade networks, festivals, music, and remarkable inventions. Interestingly, medieval people were often more sophisticated than popular movies suggest. They understood that Earth was spherical, developed complex legal systems, and built cathedrals that still stand today. They just had to accomplish all of that without electricity, antibiotics, or the ability to complain about their jobs on social media.

BREAKING NEWS: 💯 PROOF Ray J was in Whitney Houston hotel room BEFORE and AFTER she died. A man named Timothy Dance was with Ray J and Brandy all day in the day Whitney died four days down from Whitney’s room. After Whitney was dead and laying on the floor in the hotel room, Timothy recalls seeing Brandy standing over the body crying, which debunks her Good Morning America statement where she claims she was in the elevator, and he also says that Ray J OBVIOUSLY was STILL in Whitney’s room after she was dead. He had OBVIOUSLY seen Ray J in Whitney’s room at the time of her death and before, so Timothy literally puts Ray J and Brandy in the room after she died, nowhere near San Diego. Ray J had yet to tell the world 🌎 where he was when Whitney was murdered. Timothy statement can be found in Entertainment Tonight 2012 @rayj @whitneyhouston @brandy @monicadenise
