This is what I call a peak dining experience 🌮 The Bearclaw cabin in Provo, Utah is nacho average lunch spot!! It sits on a peak 8,250 ft high in the wasatch mountain and has the most beautiful 360 degree views from inside and outside the cabin. To reach it you’ll take 3 ski lifts in a row that will take you from the base of Sundance Mountain Resort to the cabin. Tickets cost about $30 per person and are 100% worth the price! Bearclaw cabin is open from 11:30am - 3:00pm daily so make sure to arrive before 3 if you’re hungry for nachos! From here you can take the lift back, bike down, hike down, or even zip line back to the bottom if you book ahead. Sundance Mountain resort is an incredible place to stay with even more amazing restaurants at the base of the mountain like the tree room and foundry grill. If you stay at the Sundance resort while in Provo then you’ll get a free ride on the ski lift! Sundance is about a 20 minute drive from the Provo Airport making it a great place for a short getaway! Section 9, Major Kusanagi is on site! I’m thrilled to share the first batch of photos from my Ghost in the Shell photoshoot with @josephchilin! I made the full costume from scratch for @kodanshamanga - a huge honor! Photos by @josephchilin I chose the iconic white trench coat look because it looked like a solid sewing challenge! And I’m weak for a good coat design. Real leather outer, holo metallic lining from my @cosplayfabrics collection. The padded sections were not fun to make 😅. Process video coming soon. The bodysuit and gloves were also made with my @cosplayfabrics, the navy superpreme and a geometric texture. The belt is leather with a fun triangle buckle! And yes, I made the shoes by altering and painting a pair of sneakers. My wig was styled by @malinda_chan using a @purplepluminc base wig Brian had the P-90 prop gun for the past 20 years because we are big GitS fans and Shirow has featured that gun in his art! I will make some of Major’s weapons this winter. We shot at a studio in Brooklyn that I’m not sure I can recommend because a lot of features were not in good condition… we made it work! After visiting Kodansha House NYC (free entry through October 18th in Hudson Yard!), @josephchilin met up with me again to take some photos at the Vessel! I love that photo so much! Tons more Kusanagi content to come, hope you will enjoy! #kodansha #kodanshamanga #kodanshahouse #ghostintheshell #majorkusanagi
Comment the word DAVINA and I'll DM you a link to the episode 💌 You might know telly LEGEND Davina McCall from Big Brother, but I grew up working out to her fitness DVDs in my student flat, lifting tins of baked beans 😂 We got into her wild clubbing days and then sobriety, to losing her sister Caroline, learning to start over and finding joy through life’s toughest moments. Davina opens up about an incredibly challenging couple of years, from discovering a brain tumour and undergoing surgery to then being diagnosed with breast cancer. We talk about grief, self-compassion and the importance of checking your boobs (or breast tissue!), going to your mammograms and speaking up about your health. OUT NOW @palomafaith @davinamccall
