Look at these beautiful women. Yes, bravery is beautiful.

They carry the scars of acid attacks and bullets on their faces and eyes, but they refuse to be silenced.

On November 9, survivors of dictatorships and persecution will unite at the German Parliament.

In 2025, during Berlin Freedom Week, Masih Alinejad met with Julia Klöckner, President of the German Bundestag. That conversation became the spark for something much bigger.

With the support our host Evelyn Zupke, Germany’s Federal Commissioner for the Victims of the SED Dictatorship, and the collaboration of a dedicated team in the German Parliament, efforts began to organize an international women’s summit.

The participation of Yaël Braun-Pivet, President of the French National Assembly, alongside Julia Klöckner marks another important step toward expanding this international cooperation.

Our vision is to turn this gathering into a global campaign and an international movement for women in Iran, Afghanistan, and every corner of the authoritarian countries where women erased from schools, jobs, and public life, facing, imprisonment, lashes, rape, and execution simply for demanding their basic rights..

We’re not just organizing a summit. We’re building a movement. ❤️✊

Sorry to my bandmates for last min changes but I’m prone to take requests day of show. I’m weak, I’m spontaneous- it’s fun right?
