Vladimir Kush is a Russian-born American artist known for his surreal paintings and his distinctive style, which he calls Metaphorical Realism. Born in Moscow in 1965, he began drawing at an early age and studied at the Moscow Art Institute before moving to Los Angeles in 1990 to pursue his career. @kushfineart

His paintings transform everyday objects, animals, and natural landscapes into unexpected visual compositions. Ships become butterflies, candles take on new forms, and familiar elements merge into dreamlike scenes filled with symbolism.

His work explores themes such as nature, love, time, and the human experience through visual metaphors.
In 2001, Kush and his father founded Kush Fine Art, establishing galleries to showcase his work. He gained international recognition for his imaginative compositions and received first prize in painting at the 2012 Artistes du Monde exhibition in Cannes, France.

Picky eating can be a normal part of development that many children grow out of. But assuming every feeding struggle is picky eating, and calling it an “epidemic” that’s caused by parents, dismisses the experiences of people with ARFID.

Being told “they’ll grow out of it,” especially by healthcare providers, can delay families getting the help they need. This is why awareness matters. People deserve understanding and support, not blame.
