My Medical Spanish Co-Chairs & New PLS initiates ✨
The medical Spanish program has been a special program for me since I was a pre-pharm student that drew me to WesternU because of the ability to learn more medical vocabulary to deliver better communication and patient care in Spanish.
I was a student in the advanced session, then a facilitator/ co-chair helping to run the behind the scenes of the program & teach sessions.
Every semester our program has been growing and I’m so happy to share our language and culture with my peers and colleagues.
I’ve had the privlege to work with these two, be inspired by their hard work, and enjoy it all alongside them. I’m so proud to see their hard work and leadership be recognized by PLS!
