My Medical Spanish Co-Chairs & New PLS initiates ✨ The medical Spanish program has been a special program for me since I was a pre-pharm student that drew me to WesternU because of the ability to learn more medical vocabulary to deliver better communication and patient care in Spanish. I was a student in the advanced session, then a facilitator/ co-chair helping to run the behind the scenes of the program & teach sessions. Every semester our program has been growing and I’m so happy to share our language and culture with my peers and colleagues. I’ve had the privlege to work with these two, be inspired by their hard work, and enjoy it all alongside them. I’m so proud to see their hard work and leadership be recognized by PLS! Congrats to Anthony & Alejandro for being new initiates and the best co-chairs! by @marilyn.pharmd
End of my CAPSLEAD era! I learned so much from my teammates & advisors as we developed our survey, completed IRB, and analyzed the data to shed light on where we can help student pharmacists to give the best counseling to our patients. So grateful to be apart of this program & present 2 posters at 2 different conferences! Had so much fun at WPE with new and old friends and witness the passion pharmacists have for the profession 🥳 by @marilyn.pharmd
A couple of weeks ago I received a scholarship from @ishpcshp ! It is such a pleasure to be apart of an organization that advocates & supports pharmacists, students, and techs for our community in the Inland Empire. I feel so honored to have been a recipient and had so much fun at the banquet. Thank you ISHP!! by @marilyn.pharmd

with Thanksgiving coming up there is so much to reflect on and be thankful for 💛 I am truly humbled & honored to be initiated into Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society! This has been a dream of mine since week 1 of pharmacy school and feels unreal to be recognized for my passion and advocacy within pharmacy & leadership amongst my peers. I’m so thankful for the PLS board and can’t wait to see what this great group of people accomplish and the growth we’ll experience within the next year. 🧡 There is a great support system and community within pharmacy and I’m so appreciative of everyone I’ve crossed paths with thus far and look forward to working with my peers, faculty, and colleagues to enrich the profession of pharmacy 💊 by @marilyn.pharmd
had the opportunity to speak to my former AP bio teachers’ students on career paths in pharmacy!! I graduated high school in 2018 and took AP biology my senior year. It was amazing to reconnect after a few years & pay it forward to future STEM professionals 💊🧫🥼🩺 by @marilyn.pharmd
that’s a wrap on CSHP seminar 2023 🎬 this was my second conference I’ve attended but it was special because our CAPSLEAD team was able to present our preliminary research poster! Our amazing team has an approved IRB & hoping to get our survey sent out soon. Looking forward to presenting our findings at WPE! by @marilyn.pharmd

POV you didn’t think you could go on your dream vacation to France during pharmacy school ✨🏹💌🥖💐✈️🧀🍷 These past two weeks reminded me to enjoy the journey in getting to the destination. My first year in pharmacy school was definitely a big milestone that drained me, I needed this experience to remind myself to take a step back and enjoy life in the moment (which is something I forget because I’m always thinking of the future) To more life 🥂 . . . #pharmacy #pharmacist #pharmacystudent #pharm #pharmdstudent #pharmtech #pharmlife #pharmacyschool #student #medicalschool #prepharmacy #pharmacyintern #pharmacy💊 #medstudent #healthcareprofessionals #pharmd #pharmdtobe #womeninmedicine #latinasinmedicine by @marilyn.pharmd
