first signs of fall🍁🎃☕️🍩
the first time we threw a 360° show at soundwell was June of 2023, and since that night we never looked back. you could say it eventually kind of became our thing. Actually, over 90% of our shows since that moment have been in the 360° format. and soundwell holds a special place in our heart. I think the intimate nature of those shows just feels special the last time we had @thisiscyclops in SLC it was a mad house he’s has been on an absolutely ridiculous run. computah with nghtmre. jazz cabbage with wooli. dis function with atliens. whatever happened to dubstep with barely alive. final bonk with tynan. not to mention these are all in the same year after releases across gud vibrations, monstercat, disciple round table, never say die and more plus sets at lost lands and bass canyon, he’s become one of the names pushing bass music forward right now and we’re putting him directly in the middle of the room (again) with special guest @paperskiesmusic @thisiscyclops Jan 23 2027 soundwell / 360° 21+ [on sale] friday Oct 16 @ 10am mst text CYCLOPS to 801-312-9158 for tixxx
Blast from the past - 21 years ago! This moment changed my life. TBH wearing a crown on your head is weird… but the opportunities it gave me in my community, the scholarships, the friendships, and the networking were absolutely priceless. I was getting my masters degree in the scientific study of human communication, and teaching public speaking to undergraduates as a part of my graduate program. After crowning the next Miss Hawaii, I got hired as a French teacher at a local elementary school. One night while out with friends, I met a news director at a nightclub. They were starting a new morning show, and they were hiring. I auditioned and went through four different interviews before they hired me as their weekend weather girl. I enrolled in Mississippi state’s broadcast and operational meteorology program immediately. My Miss America scholarships paid for all of it. These images remind me that I was still a child… trying to find my way… my value and purpose… and in many ways (though I’ve grown), I sometimes still feel like that young girl. I am still searching, growing, stepping outside of my comfort zone, and trying to find my place. #misshawaii
