John Paris Dimech

SOLD. This abstract painting inspired by the New Forest have gone to a new home. It is one of the painting I have as a part of a residency exhibition in a hotel in the New Forest. I really loved paint this in acrylics in the style of Gerhard Richter the great German artist. I took the colours from a few other paintings U have done and using just pieces of card, I went through the canvas several times until I achieved the look I wanted. The Forest is always inspirational in all seasons but Autumn is my favourite time for the colours found within it. The Red the Gold and yellow hues as the trees start to change are truly awesome. #johndimech #acrylic #New Forest #painting #autumn #colours #sold #gold #yellow #red #gerhardrichter #abstract
