#TSRTReactionz: Social media users are weighing in after #KaiCenat appeared on stream dressed as “Jeepers Creepers” and seemingly joked about stealing other creators’ Wi-Fi connections following #Reggie’s recent allegations. ___________________________ In his last video, Reggie says he is quitting streaming, claiming Kai has too much power over Twitch and that TVU gives Kai the best internet connection while taking connectivity away from other creators. ___________________________ While some commenters found Kai’s stream hilarious and viewed it as his way of responding to the allegations, others felt it was insensitive and accused the streamer of making light of serious claims instead of addressing them directly. #TeaMates, what’s your thoughts? A Berkeley chemical engineer who says she spent nearly two years battling unexplained illness is speaking out after discovering her coworker had been poisoning her food and water with cadmium, a toxic heavy metal. Rong Yuan says she eventually set up a hidden camera after becoming suspicious, and footage from 2019 showed coworker David Xu tampering with her water bottle. Prosecutors said Xu poisoned her over more than a year, and Yuan suffered serious health problems that sometimes required emergency care. Xu was originally charged with attempted murder and two counts of poisoning, but later pleaded no contest to one felony poisoning charge under a plea deal. He received probation and credit for one day in jail. Now, after completing probation, an Alameda County judge has granted his request to expunge the felony conviction despite prosecutors objecting. Yuan says she still deals with long-term effects from the poisoning and strongly opposed having the conviction cleared.
