new piece + big news!

I’m very excited that this new untitled quilt and my embroidery work will be showcased at the @gchuvalocentre micro-gallery for the month of December!

The George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Centre opened in May 2019 and provides programming and community-based resources for youth, children, families, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities in Toronto’s West End.

60% of all sales of my showcased artwork (and scrunchies!) will be donated directly to GCNC to help fund their programming and I hope many of you will have a chance to check out their location and donate or purchase some of my work.

A little more about the quilt: this piece is deeply personal to me but more importantly it’s a communally created piece of art that had many direct & indirect contributors!
