I am incredibly honored and humbled to be recognized by my peers—not just as a basketball player, but also as a trainer and community outreach leader. I’m not gonna lie… it feels unbelievably amazing to get my flowers while I’m still alive, especially from people I personally know and admire. This is a moment I’ll cherish forever. To hear the words spoken about me was heartfelt and needed. I’ve given my all to this game and Kansas City. This was definitely one of the most memorable/best acknowledgment awards I have ever received.
